For our client – one of the global leader in construction industry we are looking for a ax Compliance Manager (Poland).
Your new company:
Our client is a leading international project development and construction company, which is present in all market segments in Poland. By combining global expertise and financial strength, the company develops offices, homes and public-private partnership projects employs almost 50 thousands employees worldwide, which makes it a leader among employers.
Your new role:
The role is it to be responsible for tax compliance (correctness of tax settlements and tax records in books) related to Polish operations, incl. signing off tax returns; setting standards and ensuring delivery , report of tax risks and opportunities (tax efficiency) to the management team, provide daily tax advisory for CDE entities in Poland (excl. transactional tax support on real estate acquisitions and divestments), e.g. hot-line for Reporting Team, review of various contracts from tax perspective. The person who will be hired on this position will represent the company in front of tax authorities, incl. tax checking activities, tax controls, etc., build effective cooperation with internal shared service team – in particular, Processing and Reporting Teams, incl. responsibility for SLA maintain tax policies, procedures, guidelines, instructions, etc.
What you'll need to succeed?
We are looking for a candidate with qualifications of a tax advisor, university degree, (preferably in Law or Economy/Finance together with a proof of constant development in the field of tax) and at least 8 years of experience in related field, including tax compliance and performance on managerial position. The perfect candidate should be also fluent in English ( both oral and written) and have ability to work independently with ERP and to cooperate with stakeholders from various backgrounds and at all levels.
