For our Client – one of the market leaders in the Real Estate industry – we are currently looking for a Senior Audit Associate.
Your new role
You will be responsible for participation in risk-based operational, compliance, and financial audits and/or projects designed to enhance and protect organizational value, internal control design, risk management, governance, and applying a risk-based approach to achieve audit test objectives. Audit Associate will execute audit procedures in conformance with GIA quality standards, policies, and procedures to provide assurance and identify risks, issues, and/or best practices, evaluate business processes for compliance with internal policies and procedures, summarize audit testing results, perform root cause analysis of issues, draft audit findings and communicate to management, and continuously monitor business and risk. Other tasks in this role include documenting audit work, maintaining internal audit competency, and managing simultaneously various audit projects.
What you'll need to succeed
You’ll need to have an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, at least 2-3 years of experience in internal audit or related field, strong knowledge of fundamental internal audit, risk, and compliance principles and concepts. Advanced knowledge of English (written and spoken – at least B2 level) and highly developed problem-solving skills are a must. Ideal Candidate drives the quality of own work and the work of others on the team, explains complex information to others in straightforward situations, works well in a geographically diverse team.
