An international provider of advanced solutions for life and science sector is currently looking for an experienced Senior Financial Controller (SSC) for the role in their Shared Service Center in Kraków. The company offers wide range of opportunities to work with advanced solution and have a real chance to impact processes and the company's culture. Daily responsibilities:
- Managing all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems for particular company entities - accounting close cycles (month/quarter/annual
- Maintaining quality and compliance with appropriate Financial standards (IFRS & local GAAP)
- Cooperating with business partners
- Supporting Finance Director in budgeting and forecasting process, performing ad-hoc analysis for decision making
- Executing internal controls for assigned Business Areas( reporting incompliance and risks)
- Coordinating and leading process improvements
- Acting as an internal expert for processes
- Being as a support for Specialists
- Supporting Manager in leading team of specialists
- Performing internal controls, analysing KPI's, preparing reports
- Actively participating in continuous improvements projects and transition of the process in near future

Requirements:
- Min. 5 years of overall experience in finance
- University degree in Accounting/Finance
- Very good knowledge of English
- Accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA)
- Knowledge of International Accounting Standards and Taxation
- Experience with preparing financial statements under IFRS and local standards
- Experience in financial controlling, tax accounting and reporting
- Experience in audit would be an asset
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to operate with stakeholders and good problem solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, high sense of responsibility
- Good team player, flexible, enthusiastic, innovative and proactive
- Strong attention to details and excellent analytical skills
- Leadership skills
- Very good knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel) and SAP
