For our Client, an international pharmaceutical company, we are looking for experienced, motivated and ambitious Candidate for a newly created position of Senior Business Analyst
As Senior Business Analyst you will work closely together with the Country Finance Director and stakeholders in the business to provide financial analysis, leadership and control on key commercial and financial activities in the geography, enabling effective decision making and strengthening compliance with all relevant rules and procedures. Key areas of impact are: planning and forecasting (to oversee the budgeting and forecasting process for the business units, leading and facilitating the process, e.g. alignment meetings with product managers, reviews with BU-head etc., ensuring alignment and consistency of assumptions, checking plausibility and challenging where appropriate to get to an ambitious, yet realistic plan), business acumen and partnership (to develop and manage close relationship with local business partners and develop deep business understanding in order to provide timely advise and support to business-decision making, coupled with financial insights and challenge toward the business where appropriate e.g. in areas such as portfolio/SKU profitability, pricing, customer profitability and forecast bias), business performance review (to prepare periodic financial reports on the business performance that clarify deviations vs. prior year, vs. Budget and Forecast, synthesizing detailed data from the various BI-tools in meaningful metrics and clear presentations towards both country management and HQ management). You will also lead the technical submissions of budget and forecasts in the various systems ensuring alignment with local organization regional guidelines and group guidelines, monitor the actual P&L and expenses by Cost Center, Account and line item and ensure alignment with guidelines and budget as well as prepare periodic financial reports on the budget control and present in meetings. The role reports to the Country Finance Director and requires close collaboration and mutual support within the Poland commercial team, with the local accounting organization and with central functions.
To be successful in this role you will have to have at least 3 to 5 years’ experience at similar position in multinational company (preferably from FMCG or pharmaceutical sector in mid to large matrix organization), Master Degree in Finance and fluent English. What is crucial for the position is adequate knowledge and understanding of accounting principles as well as advanced Excel and experience in working with ERP system (experience with SAP and SAPBW is strongly preferred). All the professional qualifications (CPA, ACCA, CIMA) will be highly appreciated. We need you to have very advanced practical experience in financial planning & analysis, knowledge of compliance and controls is strongly preferred. If you are able to innovate and create new ways of doing things, learn on the fly and see perspective, this position is for you. We are looking for well-mannered Candidate with excellent communication, analytical, listening and convincing skills. Business partnership attitude and ability to go deep to business context to explain numbers variances are required. You need to be customer-oriented, excellent in execution, able to adapt to changes and commercially aware.
Budget: +/- 12.000 PLN gross + annual bonus
