Senior Accountant

For our client operating in the Renewable Energy sector, we are currently seeking a candidate for the

Position description: - Your responsibilities will involve independently managing the full accounting cycle for several Polish companies- Monitoring and analysing the state of ledger accounts and bank transactions- Preparing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closures- Compiling tax declarations (VAT and CIT) - Independently preparing financial statements for the managed companies - Collaborating with external advisors and auditors- Reporting to the appropriate institutions, such as National Bank of Poland (NBP)- Optimising tasks and processes
Your experience and skills: - You have at least 3 years of experience in full accounting management for companies- You have a minimum B2 level of proficiency in the English and Polish languages- You possess extensive knowledge of tax law and local accounting regulations- You hold a higher education degree related to accounting, finance or related field- You are a communicative, detail-oriented, conscientious person, who demonstrates strong organisational skills- Experience in the renewable energy, real estate or accounting firm industry will be an advantage
