Senior Accountant with German

Main duties:

• Understanding journal entries mechanically and conceptually that get recorded into the general ledger & corporate reporting, account analysis, reporting of risk and opportunities
• develop and maintain relationships with Senior F&A personnel for various alliances
• support Accounting Manager in team-coordination
• various reporting requirements including monthly balance sheet variance, Tax, SOX, MRC and Audit 
• timely registration of various accounting transactions and documents in Finance ERP system (Oracle or SAP) in accordance with FD standards and policies.
• participate in the monthly close process, including review of balance sheet and contract related journal entries and other expenses 
• be able to identify issues and process improvements

What you'll need:

• At least 3 years’ experience within Accounting (GL)
• highly developed organizational skills 
• the ability to function effectively in fast paced environment. 
• previous experience in SSC-environment
• knowledge of Oracle, General ledger & MS Excel applications 
• experience with at least one of the following areas: consolidation, leases, inventory valuation, preferably in accordance with US-GAAP
• very goof level of English and German
