Your new role 

The GL Team Coordinator is responsible for managing and overseeing the Record-to-Report/GL processes while performing operational tasks. This role requires a hands-on approach, balancing leadership and active participation in daily operations.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee recurring/non-recurring journal entries, account reconciliation, trial balance adjustments, intercompany balances, inventory adjustments, and fixed assets management.
  • VAT and transactional tax accounting/reporting, including external reporting. 
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls, and support internal/external audits.
  • Guide and support GL associates, handle queries, and provide training on processes.
  • Work with OtC, PtP teams, finance management, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth global finance operations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

What you39ll need to succeed 

  • Bachelor39s degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, or related fields.
  • Over 5 years of experience in accounting and/or finance operations.
  • Fluent English, additional Scandinavian language or German as an added value.
  • Experience in the role of team coordinator.
  • Experience in multinational, multi-site operations is a plus.
  • Effective interaction with internal teams and external partners.
  • Prioritising multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative approach to achieving goals.
