Your new roleAs the Department Manager - BI, you will be responsible for leading and developing the Business Intelligence team to ensure effective delivery of high-quality data solutions and analytics services. The role focusses on enabling team performance, supporting agile delivery processes, and aligning team efforts with business goals. The Team Manager acts as a servant leader, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture within a SCRUM-based delivery setup.
Main responsibilities:

• Management of the BI department.
• Exploring and prioritizing new tasks from business units and departments.
• Ensure a consolidated BI that is align with the overall IT data sub-strategy.
• Participate in activities regarding the Data Strategy.
• Ensure employee development
• Ensure optimal staffing of function as well as manage and develop employees within function
• Manage the performance of the team by providing direction, setting individual objectives and re-warding performance against objectives
• Contribution to IT Data sub-strategy and the overall IT strategy.

What you39ll need to succeed

• Proven experience with people management, including performance development, coaching, and conflict resolution
• Solid understanding of Business Intelligence processes, data architecture, and analytics lifecycles
• Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and manage capacity across competing demands
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with stakeholders at various organisational levels
• Experience with stakeholder management and translating business needs into actionable technical tasks
• Familiarity with tools and technologies in the BI domain (e.g. [insert technology])
• Understanding business practices, approaches, organization, politics, finances and culture
• Understanding existing and emerging technologies
• Identify and mitigate risks and security threats to protect business
• Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, particularly SCRUM, and experience applying them in data or analytics teams.
