Your New Role 
As the Back End Developer you will serve as a key role in building and optimizing data solutions that power business intelligence and analytics. This includes developing data models, setting up ETL processes, and ensuring data accuracy and availability for tools like Power BI; working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll help translate business needs into reliable, scalable technical solutions.  

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, scalable data models
• Develop and manage ETL/ELT pipelines using SSIS
• Optimize performance of data processing and reporting workflows
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Act as a link between IT and business stakeholders
• Deliver reusable BI solutions that support digital business optimization
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity
• Support compliance with governance and regulatory requirements (e.g., GxP, GDPR)
• Document data flows, models, and architectures
• Work closely with BI developers, analysts, and business users
• Provide training and support on BI tools (e.g., Power BI)
• Contribute to BI architecture and standards improvement
• Provide Level 2 support for BI-related incidents and data issues

What You Bring

• Proficiency in developing BI solutions using T-SQL and SSAS (Multidimensional and Tabular) models, in real-world production environments
• Experience with data integration and ETL development using SSIS
• Solid experience in data modeling and working with relational databases using MS SQL Server (on-prem)
• Good understanding of dimensional modeling approaches (Kimball or Inmon)
• Practical Experience with Power BI and DAX
• Familiarity with cloud-based platforms (e.g., Azure, MS Fabric) is an advantage
• Ability to analyze complex business needs and implement technical solutions
• Awareness of data quality, governance, and compliance in a regulated industry
• Relevant educational background in IT, computer science, or a related field
• A sharp eye for detail and a problem-solving mindset
• Great communication skills and a team-first attitude
