AP Accountant with German

As an AP Accountant, your main responsibilities are :

• Checking quality of supporting documentation,
• Communicating with business regarding coding of invoices, following Firm’s policies and guidelines
• Reviewing and posting invoices
• Working with the business to have invoices approved, chasing approvers when required
• Setting invoices ready for payment
• Reconciling payment and accounts
• Resolving invoice discrepancies
• Maintaining vendor files
• Generating regular reports
• Performing quality control checks to ensure consistent quality of work
• Acting as a contact point for Vendors and Employees (selected team members)
• Participating in internal and external audit reviews

We require:

• Fluent German and very good knowledge of English
• Experience in an accountancy
• Higher education: economy, law, finance - will be an asset
• Self-reliance and high motivation
• Knowledge of SAP accounting system (although not essential)
