Transition Manager - Accounts Payable

This EMEA Accounts Payable Transition Manager role has come available due to the transformation of Finance & Procurement.
Procurement Operations team is responsible for 25 countries within EMEA and have initiated a strategic project to centralize the AP function from 25 countries into Warsaw. The primary deliverable for this role will be to lead from the front as a subject matter expert in AP process and transition approach. The role will be supported by a Project Manager (PM), Business Analyst (BA) and local and regional teams. The successful candidate will be expected to bring an AP structural and framework knowledge to lead this project to success.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the transition of AP from 25 EMEA based countries into Warsaw, Poland
- Provide guidance on best in class process development in line with standardization efficiencies
- Be accountable, take ownership and lead this project to success on time and on budget
- Prepare regular updates to senior management on health and performance of the project in conjunction with the PM
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and be an ambassador for change
- Building and maintaining relationships between project sending and receiving teams
Required skills:
- 5+ years proven AP management experience in a service based organization with AP centralization a major plus
- Advanced Excel/project/data analysis skills
- Demonstrative project based experience in a similar capacity
- Multi-geographical experience
- Ability to analyze information and processes.
- Commitment to ethical behavior with a willingness to adhere to all company policies and current financial legislation
