For our Client, the global manufacturing company, we are looking for experienced, motivated and ambitious Candidate for the position of Supply Chain Finance Manager.

A s a senior manager you will be responsible for factory located south of Warsaw acting as a senior member of local finance leadership team. You will be dedicated to co-piloting supply leadership team to maximise financial parameters by being responsible for financial control of the factory, accounting period close and compliance process for supply segment as well as managing financial planning processes. You will represent finance view, be a part of decision making forum and approve the key corporate processes. Your scope of duties will include: effective cost control for the factory, delivery of plan earnings through active actions to reduce spends on prime and conversion, regular tracking of spend variance vs plan and previous periods with corrective actions recommendations. You will lead the planning process, be an active support for business pilots through financial forecasts and financial recommendation of activities. You will also take the responsibility for all formal processes like operating plan (target setting), profitability on brand/product level planning and recommendation for improvement, budget planning and challenging to meet required target as well as ensuring proper currency cover planning and control in line with corporate requirements. You will be leading mid and long term factory planning processes, be responsible for strategy deployment, control on operational level and analysis from the perspective of their adherence to strategy. Your scope of duties will include also: period close and financial results reporting ( e.g. monitoring local financial operations and supply finance hub activities, custodian for factory P&L compliance with corporate requirements, budget spends reporting and comparison to plan/target/previous periods), KBPs delivery (e.g. regular recommendation how to improve and support the positive results, managing factory P&L with analysis and recommendation for improvement of profitability, cost control from efficiency and affordability perspective), CAB/fixed assets budgeting and control (e.g. financial approvals and fixed assets projects appraisals, control of all fixed assets base – monitoring of capitalization on time, retirements and additions processes), accounting (e.g. accounting compliance, period close process, period close process, supporting audit process with all the relevant requirements).

To be successful in this role you will have to have at least 3 years’ experience at senior finance position (in total about 5-7 years of experience in finance) in multinational company from FMCG or Pharma sector, Master Degree in Finance or related and fluent English (C1 level is a must). The manufacturing background IS NOT ESSENTIAL– our Client will also consider Candidates with commercial background. You need to have the proven experience in co-piloting supply leadership team, acting as a business partner and support business with recommendation (the essential requirements). This is an independent role (without a team) focused on putting the additional value to control of the factory. It is necessary for you to present proven leadership and demonstrated ability to develop long term strategic plans and ability to integrate and interpret disparate sources of data using broad range of analytical data tools. If you are able to understand the business (products, processes) and their key drivers of success (how they make money, what the business costs are), this position is for you! We need the Candidate to relate to others with candor, openness and transparency. High levels of integrity and trust is a must. All the professional qualifications (MBA, ACCA, CIMA) will be highly appreciated.
