SENIOR SOFTWARE QA TESTER
Miejsce pracy: WarszawaThe goal of the program is to provide a new banking platform. It is one of the largest IT initiatives in the financial sector in recent years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Educating and bring the Agile Test Mindset to the teams
- Proactive within all test levels
- Unit Test, Component Test, Component Integration Test, Accept Test and Performance Test
- Developing the automated tests with an agile team
- Including creating test cases, risk analysis, finding test data
- Supporting the team in any QA task
- Finding / Identify test data for the team
- Coordinating QA activities between teams
- Cross Functional so if needed supporting the team in other tasks
- Could be: Minor tasks in code development, code review, ensuring compliance to internal code standards
About Team:
In total the program is 7-9 teams which develop the new API solution for our customers. Each Agile team contain a Product Owner, Scrum Master and XX team members. How big the team is very different from team to team but from 7-10 team members.
Essentials Skills and Qualifications:
- English at least B2 level (Spoken and written)
- Social skills – The candidate must be proactive and self-reliant with minor support from a manager.
- Skill to talk and understand with business people, developers and managers
- Handling teams and team’s member who can’t see the value in a QA person
- Team member with focus on the team being a success without having to promote his / her own results
- Proactive in doing push-back on other team members when needed to support a better quality
- Junior/Middle java development skills with high focus on quality in the code development
- IntelliJ
- GIT
- Jenkins
- Robust QA experience
- Agile testing
- API testing
- Creating test cases, risk analysis etc
- Unit Test, Component Test, Component Integration Test, Accept Test and Performance Test
- Agile / Agile Mindset
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- ISTQB certifications above foundation level
- Bug handling
- Experience with Jira
- Reporting on progres
