What you’ll really be doing
As Senior Software Engineer you contribute across the full technology stack, from database and DevOps infrastructure that supports continuous deployment, over native apps, to front end development. You will work in a cross-functional team with the Product Owner, Designers and Junior Engineers to co-develop the digital products.
Technologies you will need
- JavaScript (e.g. reactJS, AngularJS, Ember.js, Vue.js, Node.js) other programming languages are considered a plus
- Database(s) such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, CouchDB, HBase, Neo4J
Technologies you can get to know (if you don’t already know them)
- DevOps: Docker
- Go Lang, Elixir
- Search Technologies such as ElasticSearch
Skills you will need
- A mindset that gets you to always challenge status quo especially when it comes to decisions regarding cutting-edge technologies - we want you to have a big impact on those decisions
- Experience with and interest in working in an agile environment
- English and Polish on a fluent level - German is a plus
- An interest in contributing to the open source community (e. g. open source work, publishing / speaking on technical ideas)
- Good knowledge in testing as well as Data Security
- A user centered mindset
- The will to take over responsibility for infrastructure related topic (RESTful APIs, Single Sign On, LDAP)
- A passion for sharing your knowledge with you team members and an appetite for continual learning yourself
