Your new role
The Senior Project Manager will be leading a cross-functional team of Project Managers and partnering Business Analysts, Product Engineers, Systems Developers, as well as partner with Product, Operations, Risk, Legal & Compliance and Production Support teams.
- Manages the project using client’s methodology and requirements
- Manages the delivery of a project and provides direction within it, works closely with the relevant Business leads and wider HR team stakeholders on a daily basis
- Ensures scope, approach, solution design, timelines, costs, benefits and all other key aspects of the project are documented
- Budget management:
- Manages project expenditure against budget as agreed in the project business case and project definition document or approval request
- Creates financial baselines and track cost actuals in a detailed budget document for submission to HR PMO and Finance monthly
- Ensures that issues, risks and interdependencies are identified, managed and resolved
- Ensures key person risks (BaU and project) are mitigated
- Manages project governance through delivery of detailed Work Breakdown Structures, Project Working Groups and Steering Committees Manage tools & information
- Understand the project lifecycle and ensure all its stages are managed accordingly
- Provides leadership, management and coaching to direct reports to ensure they are highly engaged and performing to their potential.
- Promotes and embed a culture of openness, trust and risk awareness, where ethical, legal, regulatory and policy compliant conduct is the norm.
- Ensures each project role / resource has clear responsibilities, reporting lines, delegated authorities and objectives
The perfect candidate has:
- 15+ years of experience in Project Management
- Fluent English language (at least C1 level)
- Experienced in an international, dynamic organisation with multi-cultural teams
- A proven track record of leading successful projects, especially in HR
- Project Management accreditation – PMP/ITIL/PRINCE2
- Deep understanding of waterfall / PMBOK methodology – AGILE is an advantage
- Knowledge of Project Management Tools
- Evidence of prior experience managing and influencing stakeholders at Executive/Board level and providing high quality presentations and updates
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated competency in decision making and problem solving; resource management; conflict management; leadership; and planning, prioritising and goal setting.
- Ability to communicate complex information in an understandable way
