You will be working across the global organisation, helping business verticals & regions in maximising the value of data and drive business change as an impact of this.


Your next role

You will be an essential part the Global IT MDM team as well as the rest of PANDORA’s Master Data Organisation (data owners and stewards).

Your primary focus will be on one of the most valued company assets - master data. Through close collaboration with the Master Data Solution Architect, Business Analyst and Application/Solution Architects, you will ensure that data is modelled and applied consistently across PANDORA’s IT landscapes and according to master data transition plans.

In addition, you will work with Master Data change management and will facilitate the use of the master data toolbox in projects and in the application teams.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Ongoing Programs: Conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design. Developing analysis and reporting capabilities as well as monitoring performance and quality control plans to identify data improvements

  • Data Taskforce: Participating & leading where appropriate data task force activities, identifying root causes of issues and, in collaboration with Global IT and business teams, ensuring implementation of solutions (process, system, knowledge, people)

  • Data Education: Participating in the education of Global IT and Business employees (“ways of working with data”) as a classroom training or as side by side on the job training (eg. in projects).

  • Data Analysis & Trends: Interpreting data, analysing results using statistical techniques and providing ongoing reports, while identifying and interpreting trends and patterns in complex data sets

  • Data & Process Enhancements: Locating and defining new data & process improvement opportunities

  • Data Implementation: Developing and implementing Master Data entities in Pandora’s Dell Boomi Master Data Hub, data collection systems, data analytics and working with tactical plans that optimize Master Data Delivery with focus on the right quality

  • Data Monitoring: Identifying and highlighting risks and gaps in data and ensuring that issues are highlighted and rectified before reporting end users are impacted

  • Business Connector: Your mindset will be to break down silos across the Pandora business landscape to identify and prioritise business and information needs to enable a data-first approach


What you’ll need to succeed

Essential:
  • 5+ years of working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst
  • Experience of working in a global or regional multi-office working environment
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks, Services/APIs)
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using Data Quality and statistical tools for analysing datasets (Excel, Aperture Data Studio etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Adeptness in queries, report writing and presenting findings
  • Data-first approach
  • Strong people engagement skills
  • BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics

Nice to have:
  • Experience in a data rich company
  • Experience in a Tech, FMCG or Retail business
  • Experience of working in Agile development process
