Our client’s Data & Analytics department (D&A) is looking for a Senior Product Manager in manufacturing area. This position is based in Warsaw and reports to the Data Products Director. As a Senior Product Manager you will be having key role in managing Data Products in one of the functional domains. In this role you will lead and supervise the data delivery agile product teams to design and build data products, create connections between various systems to enable new and existing business processes and BI / advanced analytics capabilities. You will work in a dynamic and challenging environment: international, multi-cultural and matrix organisations, various level of stakeholders management and communication, complex and various technology, platforms & products landscape. Your new role
Our client’s Data & Analytics department (D&A) is looking for a Senior Product Manager in manufacturing area. This position is based in Warsaw and reports to the Data Products Director. As a Senior Product Manager you will be having key role in managing Data Products in one of the functional domains. In this role you will lead and supervise the data delivery agile product teams to design and build data products, create connections between various systems to enable new and existing business processes and BI / advanced analytics capabilities. You will work in a dynamic and challenging environment: international, multi-cultural and matrix organisations, various level of stakeholders management and communication, complex and various technology, platforms & products landscape. On this position You will be responsible for:
- Co-drive and animate with data product directors and business stakeholders data strategy for business domain including assessing the value of each data product
- Own the data strategy, products & roadmap for a functional domain
- Assure management of Data Products through lifecycle
- Market the solutions within business within domain across countries
- Responsible for defining with business the ROI of Data Products within the functional domain/subdomain and responsible for optimising ROI from a data perspective using the right technology and right mix of onshore, nearshore and offshore resources.
- Manage team of Product Managers & Analysts (delivery and support of the Products)
- Cooperate with Solution Architects, Platform architects and Data Architects to co-lead the domain Data Architecture design
- Responsible for Single Source of Truth Strategy for a functional domain
- Responsible for implementation of Data Excellence processes (in cooperation with Data Excellence team) in the area of Data Governance
- Cooperate with Data Science team in the area of AI data product
- Define and deliver MVPs (minimum viable product) for new Data Products with prioritised features and corresponding justification
- Build strategy for project squads to support delivery of strategic projects with respect of agreed timeline & budget, ensuring proper scoping and functional design
- Assure cross stream alignment in the Squad and with strategic partners of Data organisation
- Cooperate with Data Platform Leadership team on future use case staffing and required expertise/competencies
- Implement Agile Mindset in the Product Team
- Partner with leading data and technology providers to bring industry best practices
- Design and own cost models for Data Products
What you'll need to succeed
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in the D&A domain
- Expert knowledge and demonstrated abilities working in squads and tribes
- Experienced in Project Management methodology (both agile and waterfall)
- Act as a leader within the company
- Strong ability to connect and federate distinct stakeholders (C levels in various functions) and to cooperate with global organisation functions.
- Ability to effectively consult, negotiate, resolve conflict and influence change through appropriate attitude & communication
- Experience implementing modern data strategies and solutions using cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, Google), Informatica Cloud, Power BI
- Build meaningful network of influence to onboard & challenge your peers
- Have ability to lead and support team of Data & Analytics experts in bringing maximum value out of data
- Have ability to work in a matrix evolutive organisation
- Proven ability to complete projects and achieve results in an ambiguous work environment.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required; a field in Computer Science, Math, or other quantitative field is preferred.
- A minimum of 6 years of data management / data product experience is required.
- Good knowledge of best in class Data technologies
- Experienced in Project Management
- Proficiency in English
- Functional data knowledge in one of the domains is an advantage: supply chain
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills -strong synthetic mind
- Capability to express complex data concepts into language for stakeholder management
- Excellent presentation skills
