Our Client - one of the most recognizable brands in the world - is currently seeking a RTR Accountant and Senior RTR Accountant (with English or French) to support their growing Shared Service Center structures.

The successful RTR Accountant / Senior RTR Accountant will be part of a newly created team with exposure to complex RTR month end closing activities and financial analysis/reporting. Description
-
Preparing and posting of journal entries i.e. accruals, prepayments
-
Reconciliation of GL accounts (fixed assets, intercompany, banks, balance sheet)

Handle legal compliance processes / statutory reporting

Handle inquiries from internal customers and outsourcing partners or authorities
- Handle activities related to month/year closing for foreign entities
- Provide data for budgets and estimates and management reporting
- Preparing analysis and financial reports, cooperation with Financial Controllers
- Supporting in preparing financial statements (BS, P&L, cash flow)
- Actively participating in financial audits
- Identify and recommend process improvements
- Perform trainings for new joiners, being a role model
- Optional: participating in RTR process migration projects
Profile
-
Very good knowledge of English (French is an asset)

University degree in Finance&Accounting or a related field (or completed accounting course, ACCA/CIMA in progress)

Strong accounting knowledge

Experience in RTR/GL accounting in a Shared Service environment

Knowledge of SAP system will be an asset

Mature approach, willingness to take initiative and positive attitude

Ability to build good relationships with stakeholders
