Senior Azure Data Platform Engineer, UoP, Hybrid Work Model, Warsaw
Your Tasks:

Managing and optimizing Data/AI workflows using AI orchestrators like LangChain.
Designing and managing database schemas to efficiently meet application data requirements.
Utilizing Azure Cloud services (AI Service, Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Container App, App Jobs, App Configuration) to build, manage, and run data pipelines and cloud-native applications.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Documenting data workflows, processes, and architectures to maintain clarity and consistency.
Integrating (Gen) AI models into business applications, such as conversational chatbots and analytics, in collaboration with data scientists and software engineers.
Performing database tuning and query optimisation to ensure high performance.
Implementing Azure Cognitive Services for natural language processing and other AI functionalities.
Ensuring security and compliance of all data solutions, including data encryption and access controls.

Your Profile:

Strong analytical skills, particularly in optimizing database performance and managing distributed systems.
Over 3 years in data engineering, focusing on building and managing ETL pipelines with Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Azure Synapse.
Excellent skills in collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Hands-on experience with container orchestration and management.
Proven experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, SQL Dedicated Pool, and container distribution using Argo CD.
Solid understanding of container management, automated testing, and deployment processes.
Proficiency in using Jenkins and Nexus for continuous integration and deployment.
Familiarity with Azure Cognitive Services and other AI/ML frameworks in cloud-based architectures.
Knowledge of best practices, including data encryption and compliance protocols.
Very good command of English, both spoken and written.
