For Our client - major multinational production and distribution company with growing operations sales office in Poland in Warsaw – we are looking for an experienced candidate for the role of Senior Accountant.
Working on this position, the candidate will have to bear the responsibility for purchase ledger, general accounting, as well as statutory accounting, reporting and control. Senior Accountant reports to Finance Director. Candidate will support Finance Director in ensuring assignation of cost to proper group cost center and also in: monthly reporting, preparation of yearly statutory financial statement, yearly statutory external audits report, eventual internal audit with Group auditor. On this position candidate handle full spectrum of financial and cost accounting role for payables and receivables processing, control over invoices flow, coordination of processing of payments and keeping all data in logic and structured order. Main tasks included also tax declarations and controls, local statutory accounting - it is a leading position on tax authority audits reports. What is more, the duties also include responsibility for proactive collaboration with other departments, especially with purchase, logistic department.
The successful Candidate should have minimum 4 years’ experience in in the same position- Senior or Independent Accountant. University degree in Accounting/Finance (ACCA qualification and IFRS knowledge would be an advantage). Familiarity with local legislation, experience in preparation tax and statistic declarations: VAT-7,VAT-UE, CIT, GUS, NBP. Very good MS Office skills particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel, experience with ERP systems, Navision Dynamics or AXAPTA is an advantage. Candidate should have significant experience of accounting within international company.
You should also have an excellent knowledge of commercial and tax laws, ability to prepare tax reports CIT and VAT and understands key business drivers and proactively seeks out opportunities. Perfect candidate should promote pro-active attitude with autonomous and reliable personality. Our client looking for a candidate able to work independently and highly meticulous, with strong problem solving and good communication skills.
