The company prides itself on developing innovative and unique tools that help professionals clean effectively, thus helping to improve cleanliness and health in buildings. Unger has offices in the USA, Germany and the UK. The products are successfully sold in over 80 countries.

For our European sales department we are looking for a full-time Sales Manager Export & Poland as soon as possible. The position will be located in Poland. It is possible to work remotely in locations: Warsaw, Lodz, Wroclaw.

 

Your primary tasks will be

  • Responsible for a designated sales region (Central & Eastern Europe, South East Europe and CIS) - With special focus on Poland.
  • Forecast revenues by customer and product for the territory
  • Submit periodical written sales plans and reports (focus activities by quarter) for the territory
  • Maintain written records of all customer agreements
  • Negotiate contracts & agreements with customers, distributors and end-users within pre-approved limits
  • Manage local and regional key accounts (defined distributors and end-users) to meet the stated goals
  • Develop and implement annual sales plan
  • Build relationships with distributors and key end-user customers; Grow revenues of existing and new customers, including distributors, wholesalers, end-user customers per annual territory objective
  • Conduct distributor & end-user seminars and product installations for all existing and new Unger products and systems
  • Training of customers with Unger systems and products on site; support the sales activity by demonstrating the Unger solutions at end-user customers
  • Join regional and local trade and end-user associations as required
  • Assist Finance in credit checks and bad debt collection as needed
  • Monitor and report on competitor products and marketing activities
  • Coordinate and participate in sales forecasting activities
  • Work in close cooperation together with the other members of the sales team

 

Your Profile

  • Minimum completed vocational Degree in sales or sales related area
  • Several years industry or related sales experience (minimum of 5 years experience)
  • Knowledge of cleaning/hygiene industry
  • Proven track-record of continual sales growth and sales management experience
  • Must be fluent in Polish and English; Russian and German helpful
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills, maturity and good judgment and be capable of communicating with a diverse range of individuals
  • Capacity to deal with dealers and to have direct contacts with end users
  • Able to manage a large territory, organized, autonomous
  • Structured and analytical in work habits and time management
  • Very good communication skills, business acumen, negotiation skills and “hands-on” mentality
  • Travel national and international (>60%)
