For Our Client, international chemicals company, we are currently looking for English and Italian speaking accounting specialist

General Ledger Accountant with Italian

 

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the accounting for one or more legal entities in EMEA;
• Preparing Balance Sheet (BS) and Profit & Loss (P&L) analysis;
• Review and potentially adjust reports in HFM;
• Assure that month end closing deadlines are met;
• Inter Company Accounting - report/review and solve IC mismatches;
• Focus on Balance Sheet and P&L, execute high level review and answer specific expertise questions during month and month-end closing;
• Translates IFRS/webFEM policy to MIAC administration and Local GAAP;
• Drive that changes in policies with reference to IFRS are reflected and embedded in the processes;
• Cooperation with other departments; 
• Contribute to projects that require IFRS expertise and have an impact on accounting (e.g. SAP rollout, integration of legal entities).

We are looking for:

• University degree in Finance & Accounting, Economics or similar; 
• At least 1,5-3 years of professional experience in GL/RTR area or in accounting office; 
• Very good knowledge of English & Italian (min. B2/C1);
• Good knowledge of Excel (i.a. pivot tabels);
• Good knowledge of IFRS; 
• Knowledge of SAP would be an asset;
• Analytical, focused on details but also communicative and open-minded person.
