Our client is one of the leading design companies in Oil&Gas sector, delivering high-class and innovative solutions to off-shore business. With constant growth, the companywill hire an experienced engineer for the position ofProject Lead Engineer for Manifold & Connection Systems.

The Project Lead Engineer is a position that will have responsibility for the Engineering deliverables and Technical Compliance for a defined part of the overall Manifold & Connection Systems’ (MCS) scope in an EPC Project or Product Delivery Project. A high degree of importance is placed on the aspects of management and co-ordination of engineering activities necessary to complete the scope.
Responsibilities will include developing the engineering schedule relevant to thescope;execution and delivery of the scope / package according to the engineering plan and budget; resources management; ensuring all project specific engineering procedures in the project are communicated and rolled out;manage technical risks based on risk register supplied by Systems and MCS Engineering Manager; identify customer’s requirement and implement effective solutions; attend customer meetings and EPC meetings; ensure the project engineering team is working well and enhance team spirit and loyalty.

Ideal candidate at the position will normally require someone with 5-10 years’ experience in subsea, of which at least 2-5 years have been in technical management. The candidate preferably have held a similar position of Lead Engineer, Engineering Manager or similar in one of the related disciplines for subsea.
Required skill set include strong systems and interface engineering skills based upon previous experience within subsea Projects. It is required that the person has detailed understanding of subsea product design basis / verification methods / qualification technology and general product knowledge gained through significant number of years of industrial experience. The skills will include capabilities to participate in Risk Assessment, HAZOP and Interface Engineering within the boundaries of product standards. It is also required that the person has knowledge and understanding of other related systems engineering skills such as Factory Acceptance Procedures, EFAT, SIT and manufacturing / fabrication as well as Safety and Environmental Controls and a working knowledge of Quality standards, particularly ISO 9001. Fluent English is a must.
