As a Product Engineer reporting to the CIO, you will be a trusted partner to the business in developing a roadmap to ensure the delivery of technology solutions. You will contribute to CIB’s transformation and growth by building high-performing IT teams and continuously evolving the platforms that support our business.

We need somebody like you to help us in different fronts:

• You will be responsible, Front to back, of the HOW.
• You will have the same product goals with Product Owner.
• You will report to Domain Engineer, functional report to Business Heads.
• You will manage Risk and dependencies inside Product.
• You will be Accountable for execution teams inside the product:
• Software delivery
• Financial Management
• Execution Controls (monitoring & reporting)
• Production

EXPERIENCERelevant experience (+10 years of experience) in IT, analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and participating in the design of technological solutions, and managing projects. It is also required proven experience managing IT teams, data engineering and data governance policies & best practices.

EDUCATIONBachelor39s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, or similar. Master39s degree in finance, business or data science would be an asset. Fluent English, C2 desirable (work is largely in English) and fluency on Spanish or Polish would be an asset.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

• Knowledge of Investment Banking Products and Wholesale Banking.
• Experience managing large high-performance teams.
• Proven experience in investment banking technological strategies.
• Experience working with Agile and DevOps delivery teams.
• Experience in using agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Knowledge of latest software architecture (e.g., public cloud, hybrid cloud, microservice architecture, OpenShift).
• Hands-on experience with streaming big data technologies (Kafka streams, Java, MongoDB, Elastic).
• Capacity to adapt to different system environments and maintain legacy systems.
• Ability to manage teams from different geographies.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, including the use of presentation skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the business and product teams in setting the vision for data needs and translating it into an end-to-end execution.
• Experience in managing and reporting incidents in production environments.
