Product Controller
Miejsce pracy: WarszawaYou’ll be responsible for:
• Granular review of valuation differences and escalation of differences that may not be visible in netted results for consolidated business lines
• Cooperating with Product Controllers to gather the data and commentaries necessary to
finalize the control procedures
• Assurance over completeness of valuation controls
• Ensuring all differences between the ledger and Front Office systems are understood and is-sues are escalated to management
• Assigning levels to fair value positions according to IFRS
• Preparation of reporting packs for various decision making committees
• Communicating with external and internal auditors
• Identification of improvement opportunities in the department processes
The skills you’ll need:
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent English
• Good knowledge of financial instruments valuation
• Hands on Excel knowledge (VBA preferred)
• The ability to think analytically and attention to details
• An understanding of control environments and the requirements that need to be met for a control to be effective
• Experience in a financial organisation linked with capital markets would also be an advantage
