At the moment we are looking for:

- Working with the business to understand their network requirements
- Producing a hardware network design document to support ordering of equipment
- Producing a full network design document with detailed network configurations which will allow the build team to successfully implement your solution
- Working closely with the Project Manager, local business representatives and stakeholders of the project providing timely updates to ensure successful delivery of the projects
- Ensuring that all project management systems are updated to reflect time spent and current forecasted time to deliver the project
- Ensuring that the solution is fit for purpose, meets the business objectives and follows the company’s processes and standards
- The Design Engineer will have a number of projects all at different stages of the project lifecycle
- Excellent understanding of core Cisco products
- Excellent understanding on configuring Cisco routers and switches
- Knowledge of typical investment/retail banking environments or equivalent (major ISP, systems integrator or global enterprise)
- Detailed knowledge of OSPF, BGP, EIGRP and other common network protocols
- Good English written and verbal communication
- Interesting projects focused on new technologies and realized in banking sector
