Mobile Software Developer

Roberts Publishing is looking for mobile developer that can help us expand our mobile product offering to support the explosive growth we’re seeing. You’ll be working on a large-scale application used by millions of people around the world leveraging the latest mobile technologies. You’ll work closely with product management, user experience design, and quality assurance to deliver elegant, scalable, and maintainable products in an agile process.

• HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, XML.
• jQuery, jQuery Mobile, Sencha Touch, Backbone.js
• Native app development for iOS and/or Android
• Cross-browser and cross-device development for iOS and Android
• Proficient in at least one scripting language, such as Ruby, Python, PHP, etc.
• Performance testing and optimization for mobile environments

• Experience building SDK’s for iOS and Android
• Experience delivering internationalized apps supporting multiple languages
• Familiarity with one or more cross-platform frameworks (PhoneGap, Titanium, Corona)
• Ability to show mobile apps or open source projects that you’ve created
• Expertise in the mobile development ecosystem, including mobile solution stacks, app store best practices, etc.
