Mid/Senior Backend Software Engineer (praca zdalna)

Our client is an international IT company, which creates Artificial Intelligence and Blockchains Solutions for enterprises currently developing the Blockchain predictions exchange platform and Blockchain-Powered Active Asset Management.

Your role is:

-> To build reusable code and libraries;

-> To optimize the system software for performance and scalability;

-> To integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic;

-> To design and implement the data storage solutions;

-> To explain the technical trade-offs of different approaches;

-> High-level system design (interaction of server-side system’s modules/services with users);

-> To learn and introduce new technologies.

Your skills and experiences:

-> 3+ years of experience as a Backend Software Engineer;

-> Experience working with one of the server-side programming languages: Java, C#, or Python;

-> Experience with Git;

-> Experience in implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests;

-> Experience with the integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system;

-> Knowledge of Computer Science principles: Algorithms, Data Structures, and Databases;

-> Knowledge of Computer Systems Organization, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, and Distributed Systems;

-> Strong communication and people skills;

-> Strong spoken and written English.

Nice to have:

-> Knowledge of text-based data representation technologies such as JSON, XML, and CSV. Binary formats (e.g., Google Protocol Buffers).
