Metadata Management Algorithm Expert
Location: Warszawa
Responsibilities:
1) Take charge of the technical Research and Development in the metadata management algorithm domain, lead the team for qualified deliverables, such as design documents and key algorithm prototype.
2) Track the cutting-edge technologies trends in Storage and Database, such as new storage media, network acceleration, AI, etc. Take charge of the long-term planning of related algorithms and data structures, and ensure the competitiveness in the domain.
3) Take charge of external cooperation in the metadata management algorithm domain, provide insights into industry-leading technologies, and establish cooperation with external resources in both academia and industry.
Requirements:
1) Familiar with the new technology trends, such as new storage media, network acceleration, AI, etc. Capable of verifiying and implementing those new technologies. (optional)
2) Vision into the future technologies and capable of planning differentiated and innovative technologies.
3) Good communication skills, technical decision-making capabilities. (must)

5) Experience with publishing papers at top conferences (such as such as FAST, SIGMOD, ICDE, VLDB) in the domain would be a plus; (optional)
For Candidates From Academia:
1) PhD's degree in electronic engineering, computer science, or mathematics from top-level universities，including talented Ph.D from top-level Labs, PostDoc and Professors; (must)
2) At least 5 years of Research experience in the indexing data structure. Published papers in top-level conferences (such as FAST, SIGMOD, ICDE, VLDB) or journals (ACM Transactions on Algorithms), in the fields of indexing/metadata management. (must)
3) Vision into the future technologies and capable of planning differentiated and innovative technologies. (optional)
4) Good communication skills, technical decision-making capabilities. (must)
5) Deep technical insights, sensitive to new technologies in academia and industry, and capable of identifying qualified external resources, establishing cooperation and integrating them into products to achieve business success. (optional)
6) Experience of successful application into products or cooperation with the storage/database industry would be a plus. (optional)
