Responsibilities:
- Keeping supervisor updated of process issues
- Processing all bookings (revenue, accruals, orders) for designated division
- Performing timely closing of designated divisions
- Responding to ad hoc queries from controllers form designated areas in timely manner
- Maintaining procedures and documentation
- Delivering customer service in line with agreed procedures
- Implementing and maintain internal control procedures
- Management Accounting Process
- Recognizing project revenue in accordance with accounting policies and international ac-counting standards (checking conditions, posting vouchers)
- Producing timely and reliable management information reports (COGS Review and others) on a monthly basis, as per procedure and closing calendar
- Preparation of the monthly reporting files as per procedure and closing calendar
- Fully support Real Time Accounting Project initiatives and timings
- Proactively suggesting recommendations and ideas to deliver continuous process improvement
- Performing other independent accounting reconciliation and investigation
- Standardizing process across different legal entities
- Introducing process improvements with the use both spreadsheets and BI Tools
- Applying and managing the revenue recognition policy
- Supporting the external audit for all Revenue Recognition related areas
- Ensuring that the internal control processes are sufficient to allow Revenue Recognition to be correctly recorded, and that any financial risks are adequately covered
- Using decision making skills to priorities the workload during busy times
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of relevant experience gained in an international SSC environment (GL, audit, financial analyst background is usually a good fit)
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of accounting rules (deferred cost, accrued income)
- Advanced skills in MS Excel (pivots, advanced functions, formatting)
- Experience in working with an integrated finance software package or ERP system
- Fluency in English is a must – daily cooperation with Business Controllers
- Ability to build good relationship with different stakeholders
- Good analytical skills and ability to see PnL / BS links
- Willingness to work in fast changing environment
- Assertiveness and good organization of own work
