Linux Administrator

The biggest telecommunication provider in Poland is looking for Linux to support his administration team.

Responsibilities:

- Administration, configuration and maintenance of Schneider's search engine servers ( web spiders running on Linux machines)

- Configuration of spiders in order to index new type of content

- Accepting and solving complex problems in the search engine software

- Advising and users supporting

- Troubleshooting interfaces between systems

Desired skills and experience:

- Strong analytical skills, quick learner

- Experience in analyzing and providing solutions for incidents, problems and changes

- Experience in the support and maintenance of applications

- Experience in at least one software programming language

- Experience in Linux administration

- Experience with SOLR/Lucene is a plus

- Ability to create applications in Groove (similar to Java) programming language is a plus

- Good command of English
