Providing accounting support to a number of European entities which will involves:
Prepare and enter monthly journals (involving US GAAP close) in SAP HANA (eg. accruals, IC transactions, payroll, cost re-classes etc)
Prepare/review accounting data to post; cooperation with FP&A, global accounting and tax departments while collecting necessary details (eg. calculation of IC invoices, Interests, preparation and tracking the schedules of cost amort, accruals etc)
Balance sheet Account Reconciliations prepare or review (ARTS, Black Line)
Provide support on the preparation and filing of EMEA entities: VAT, CIT (local GAAP vs US GAAP analyzes may be required)
Ensure the appropriate control environment and supporting documentation required by corporate policies and SOX standards.
Providing information to internal customers (FP&A, tax, internal auditors, external statutory auditors)
Coordination of transaction processes (AP, AR and GL) both with internal and outsourced teams
Other adhoc accounting duties as required
Required skills:
Fluent English
Good accounting and transaction knowledge and experience
Team player
Communication skills
Excel to intermediate standard (min)
Performs work conscientiously and diligently (flexibility while quarter or year closure)
Knowledge of SAP
