JavaScript / Full Stack Developer

We develop and deliver end-to-end software solutions for the Prime Risk Analytics Platform. This team maintains systems that help Prime Finance analyze the Risk of each of our clients as well as potential clients and we design and maintain sophisticated automated solutions to make this happen. The next phase of the project is to build a Predictive Analytics engine that will help credit risk officers prepare for market events before they occur. The system will use Machine Learning techniques to train itself on historical data and use predictive analytics to make forecasts about the future.
- Deliver solutions in the Prime Finance area
- Develop and enhance the User Interface using Angular 5 / TypeScript
- Write unit test cases using Jasmine / Karma
- Write automated test cases using Selenium or other front-end testing tool
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Take active part in code reviews
- Occasionally develop and enhance back-end part of the application written using Spring Boot
- Present to the team new solutions that could benefit the platform
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role - a plus if it's in the Finance Sector
- Strong academic background with at least an undergraduate degree in a related field
- Excellent communication skills and fluent in English
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Strong willingness to operate in a global support model across multiple time zones
- A solid understanding and experience with project delivery, software development life cycle, JavaScript modern frameworks; optionally: Java application technologies and Linux
- Experience working with senior stakeholders including project managers, business and senior managers
- Experience delivering well-architected scalable solutions in a timely project oriented manner
Technical:
- Excellent Angular 5 / TypeScript knowledge
- Experience in front-end unit testing and end-to-end test automation
- Great understanding of HTML5 and CSS3
- CSS compiler knowledge (e.g., Sass, LESS)
- Familiarity with front-end build tool - npm-cli
- Unix and scripting skills (Korn shell)
- SQL server experience
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools – npm / Maven / TeamCity / uDeploy
- Knowledge of Version Control System - git
