Your new roleThe IT Compliance Specialist ensures that the organization’s IT quality management system adheres to internal policies, GxP requirements, and other external legislation, such as GDPR. This role supports both ongoing operations and IT projects by embedding compliance and risk management practices into processes and procedures. The specialist is responsible for maintaining the IT quality management system, ensuring e.g. IT staff training, audit readiness, IT deviation handling, support to system validation and continuous compliance monitoring and controlling. The specialist significantly contributes to the overall compliance and efficiency of the organization39s IT functions.
Main responsibilities:
- Maintains the IT quality management system, ensuring adherence to internal policies, GxP requirements, and other external legislation, such as GDPR.
- Supports and advises the IT organization to be compliant with regulatory and internal requirements, standards etc.
- Ensures ongoing training of IT staff to accommodate periodic re-training and changes IT quality management system.
- Monitors the effectiveness of the IT quality management system.
- Maintains an IT GxP training program and executes training and ensures training documentation.
- Ensures periodic IT compliance awareness within the IT organization.
- Maintains the IT supplier GxP qualification process, including executing IT supplier GxP qualifications.
- Maintains the IT supplier audit management procedure, including executing IT supplier audits. Audits may be outsourced. This e.g. includes coordination, preparation work, approval and follow-up.
- Ensures coordination of IT activities during authority inspections and audits.
- Overseeing IT deviations, ensuring deadlines are met and conducting periodic deviation trending and reporting.
- Engages in internal and cross-functional team projects to ensure IT compliance throughout and following the project phases.
- Regularly reports on the status of IT compliance aspects to management.
What you39ll need to succeed
- Strong knowledge with GxP guidance, including Annex 11, 21 CFR Part 11, and Data Integrity.
- Proficient in the GAMP5 framework.
- Experience with other regulations, such as GDPR and AI Act is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Good communication skills for conducting training and engaging with auditors and stakeholders.
- Competent in developing, reviewing, and implementing policies, processes and procedures.
- Structured approach to problem-solving and documentation
- Excel in working independently and as a collaborative team player.
- Fluent spoken and written in English.
