We need great people who share our passion for science and have the drive and determination to meet the unmet needs of patients around the world.The role is part of Global HR Services function and reports into the Payroll and Time team.The role is working with the monthly payroll processes for international assignees and the related annual tax return process. The role is accountable to provide a smooth process between the vendor EY and local payrolls, support process, manage escalation and provide overall coordination.

Key accountabilities:

The IA Payroll Analyst provides effective HR service delivery for global payroll processes through the following:

• Coordinating payroll process related for international assignees, including working with EY and other third party providers to produce accurate payroll instructions and working with payroll vendors to ensure correct payroll delivery.
• Ensuring an up-to-date and accurate database of international assignee compensation data is maintained and that relevant data provided to key stakeholders and third parties as required.
• Collaborating with other internal AZ HR functions to ensure successful service delivery, particularly Global Mobility and Global Benefits teams.
• Ensuring compliance of payroll for international assignees with both internal and external requirements.
• Manage global and IA, complex tier 3 payroll incidents and complaints – reviewing and solving actions and escalate either internally or externally as appropriate.
• Act as an expert resource and problem solver with the global payroll area (specifically for international assignment payroll).
• Act as control owner for relevant HR processes, identifying and performing audits as necessary.
• Role is also managing relationship with local HR as required
• Ensure all service level agreements are met with respect to time and accuracy etc.

Skills & experience

Essential:
• Demonstrated ability to work with third party service providers and with different teams within AZ
• Experience of managing and maintaining complex data sets.
• Background in a transactional service environment with experience of operating complex processes to agreed service levels and issue resolution.
• Strong detail orientation and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently/virtually as well as in a team environment.
• Experience of working with Microsoft Excel.
• Fluent English.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain highly confidential information.
• International and multi country experience.

Desirable:
• Knowledge of global payroll including tax and social security
• Knowledge of Global Mobility policy and processes (both AZ specific and more general)
