What you’ll really be doing
As Information and Data Security Officer, you are the crucial link for all security topics between our semi-autonomous unit and the IT security experts at our mother corporation. You consult the VP Technology as well as our developers, designers and software engineers on all relevant security topics. You implement group IT policies and regulations in a way that supports the customer-centric development of cutting-edge IT solutions.
This position is based in Warsaw, Poland, with occasional travels to Germany.
How you’ll get the job done
- To make sure we have the most advanced digital products with an excellent security performance, you’ll be responsible for:
- Empowering our technology and product development teams to excel at secure software development;
- Consulting the VP Technology and the leadership team on all relevant IT security topics (incl. cloud solutions, hybrid solutions. Infrastructure components, development tools and frameworks)
- Implementing and ensuring compliance with IT security regulations;
- Providing technology expertise in discussions with stakeholders.
What we need from you for the role
- You have at least 8 years of technology and IT experience, ideally with a specialization in IT security topics either in software and/or infrastructure development
- You are an expert at consulting executives and specialists on IT security matters such as components of modern cloud solutions (e.g. from AWS, Azure or Salesforce), cloud services (e.g. ECS, Loadbalancer, KMS, Docker Hub, IAM, Github, nginx, microservices) and necessary security components (e.g. end2end encryption, hardening, isolation, transport layer security, gateways) as well as underlying secure software development in a DevOps environment
- You are familiar with agile approaches of digital product development
- You have a strong track record of implementing IT security policies and managing projects at the interface of various departments and hierarchy levels
- You have a sound understanding of and know how to manage the delicate interplay of IT infrastructure and applications
- You have a real passion for development and a demonstrated appetite for continual learning

- Community contributions (e.g., open source work, publishing / speaking on technical and security ideas) are a plus;
- Fluent English and Polish with strong written andspoken proficiency, German a strong asset.
