Income Tax Accounting Manager

Location: Warszawa

Income Tax Accounting Manager reports to the Vice President of Tax Operations and the Director of Income Tax Accounting and is primarily responsible for all aspects of IFRS income tax accounting for Diebold Nixdorf AG, including internal and external reporting. Position also supports the German income tax provision process and the U.S. GAAP income tax provision for certain Diebold Nixdorf, Incorporated legal entities.

Essential Functions

  • Manage Diebold Nixdorf AG’s IFRS income tax accounting and required financial statement disclosures under the direction of the Vice President of Tax Operations and the Director of Income Tax Accounting
  • Research IFRS tax accounting matters and related reporting issues. Review current guidance and trends for related items
  • Liaison with Corporate Accounting to keep abreast of accounting changes, recording of significant transactions and other consolidated financial statement and accounting items that impact the income tax provision
  • Review U.S. GAAP income tax provisions and provide support to local country preparers for certain Diebold Nixdorf, Incorporated legal entities
  • Coordinate professional consulting arrangements for tax services
  • Assist with special projects such as tax planning, legal entity simplification, and software implementation projects
  • Support efforts to prepare, maintain, and improve tax documentation at the local country, regional and headquarters level

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with certification required, advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years tax experience; preferably a combination of public accounting and large multi-national corporate experience with emphasis on IFRS and/or U.S. GAAP tax accounting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Khalix, KBACE, Oracle and/or SAP
  • Reliable and resourceful professional ready to tackle any issue
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize under pressure and within timeline constraints
