On behalf of our client, one of the world’s largest independent automotive distributors and retailers, we’re looking for candidates interested in the position of Group Strategy Analyst. This position is responsible for supporting and enabling the team to develop data-driven solutions and ideas and communicate them across the group. The successful candidate would have an inherent curiosity to identify and solve problems based on sound data and analytical rigour.
Your role will entail tasks three main areas:
- Helping to research and write reports to brief the senior management on key industry megatrends, such as electric vehicles, driverless cars and the changing automotive retail environment
- Helping to prepare intelligence reports on company performance for the Chief Executive and his Executive Management Team

- Be at the heart of the decision-making process
- The teams work closely with the CEO, CFO, and Chief Transformation Officer, and are a critical strategy think-tank and change agent for the Executive team.
- You will be a critical member of a small team – not a cog in the machine

- The team’s structure ensures ample headroom to grow within the function and also provides an access route into a commercial or finance role in the business in the longer term

To apply you’ll need:
- Minimum 2+ years supporting top consultancies (MBB, Tier 1)
- Strong intellectual curiosity and desire to learn
- Excellent quantitative analysis capability, including expertise in Excel
- Exceptional communication skills, including solid PowerPoint skills
- Initiative and commitment
- Independent and self-motivated
- Excellent attention to detail
