For our Client, the international Group from manufacturing sector, we are looking for the experienced, motivated, result-oriented and ambitious Candidate for the position of Group Controlling Manager (regional position).
The controlling team is primarily responsible for all management information, planning & control, budgeting & forecasting, financial analysis, variances & scenario analysis, impact reporting and internal reporting of the Group. The Group Controlling Manager will be responsible for streamlining and continuously improving the controlling processes in order for him/her and the team to be a natural partner in business in supporting and challenging management on the strategy and the key decisions of the company from a financial perspective. Group Controlling Manager will be a sparring partner for the senior management, including Finance Director and CEO.
Key areas of responsibilities in the controlling team include but are not limited to: adding value to the company by reporting, mirroring, challenging and advising the business based on financial and economic analysis, creating conditions and relevant management information for senior management to operate in regard of the mission and vision of the company as well as development, implementation and maintaining of models and systems to perform analysis, e.g. a system for Business Intelligence (data-warehouse), consolidation tools, etc. The person of this position will take care of managing, monitoring and streamlining of the planning, control cycle, budgeting process, the rolling forecasting and management information. Group Controlling Manager will be also responsible for development, implementation and maintaining of a costs and capital allocation system, as well as internal reporting, presentations and analysis. Additional responsibilities of the Group Controlling Manager will concentrate on developing the skills of business minded financial analysis within the team, in order to become the business’ financial partner, managing the team and develop the Controlling Department with vision on role and position in the organization. Person on this position will contribute to quality of analysis by searching for simplicity in the information process and by shifting from manual processing to automated processing. Group Controlling Manager will also manage cross functional relationships and contribute to an open communication structure within the organization with regard to optimize information flow processes.
The ideal Candidate has an academic degree in accountancy, controlling, business economics or equivalent, minimum of 10 years relevant working experience and in-depth knowledge of financial processes and reporting, including experience in Big4, knowledge of and controlling experience in international manufacturing company (must have), as well as relevant management experience and outstanding people management skills, especially experience in leadership towards a department. You need also to demonstrate the relevant experience in working with automated administrations, external reporting, ERP system implementation, BI and dashboards. We would like you to possess project management skills and excellent language skills in English. ACCA/CIMA/chartered accountant qualification, international experience and SAP knowledge would be the additional assets. We are looking for proactive, status-quo challenger, autonomous, self-starter, well-organized, facilitating and accessible personality, with the capacity of function well within a head office department, able to motivate people beyond the hierarchical lines. We need you to have excellent communication skills in writing and speech to clarify complex quantitative methods and techniques to stakeholders at different levels. We would especially appreciate the person with high level of working energy, accuracy in way of communicating, realistic expectations and willingness to roll sleeves up to get things done. The ideal Candidate will demonstrate the persistence, an eye for detail and ability to complete projects and keep to deadlines as well as innovation and execution power.
