For our Client, an industry leader, the provider of business service and tools, we are looking for an experienced, motivated professional Candidate for a position of Group Accounting & Consolidation Manager.
On this position, you will be responsible for supervising the accounting processes of few entities, consolidated financial reporting and coordination of issuing financial statements in accordance with IFRS, coordination of tests performed and organisation to ensure the reliability and technical accuracy of management and financial information. As a Group Accounting & Consolidation Manager, you will take over the production of high-quality financial accounts and reports for the group and its subsidiaries, ensure that companies comply with all regulatory requirements for financial reports, provide accounting support to operating companies, develop and implement best practice processes and systems. You will oversee compliance with tax regulations, including the preparation or review of tax returns and VAT returns. In addition, you will be in contact with auditors, support ad hoc projects, administer and develop the accuracy of accounting and consolidation tools, conduct training for users on how to use the best system practices, and work with the reporting team to prepare consolidated quality reports.
An ideal candidate should have a minimum 8 years of experience in international groups and in audit or accounting companies, a high level of skills in accounting, IFRS and accounting processes practical knowledge, ERP consolidation software, as well as have experience in team management and be fluent in English and French (as a must have).
