GL Accountant - Global FMCG brand

We are looking for a GL Accountant with an open mind and good analytical skills! Ready to work for market leader and eager to implement new improvements !

Client Details

Our client is the world's largest beauty company - market leader. They are located in Warsaw city center. You will have the opportunity to gain an experience in FMCG industry by joining an accounting Shared Services Center operating for fifteen countries in Central Eastern Europe region.

Description

• Review and post General Ledger entries according to Group requirements: provision for risks and charges, journal entries for adjustments;
• Review and finalize Balance Sheet, sub ledgers and trial balances for entities;
• Control Payroll entries;
• Prepare summary of variations of provisions;
• Prepare FI-CO reconciliation;
• Prepare tax declarations that will be controlled by local team;
• Prepare partially CONSO reporting for quarterly closing;
• Prepare SHARE consolidation reporting for quarterly closing and hard close;

Profile

• University degree (Accounting or Finance preferably)
• A professional qualification of ACCA, CPA, etc. would be a plus;
• Knowledge of accounting and General Ledger processes (2-3 years of proven experience);
• Strong customer driven focus;
• Very good command of English; knowledge of other language(s) will be an asset;
• Attention to detail and thoroughness;
• Good analytical skills;
• High interpersonal and communication skills;
