Your new role
The Digital Commerce Team is seeking a highly motivated candidate that will join our talented software development team, as a Front-end Developer, responsible for building and supporting existing capabilities for online e-commerce products and services. Candidate will be a key member of the Application User Experience Design team. You will exercise your expertise in engineering, architecture, and design, to create the necessary front-end templates, components and prototypes to support the implementation of the user interface. To be successful in this role it requires you to be able to collaborate with UX team members, have a good eye towards the design and user experience, and work independently on the implementation.
You will work with development of 3 large international e-commerce applications.

You will work with development of 3 large international e-commerce applications.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement new functionalities within projects or enhancements requested by business users
- Build and maintain the good relationship with related teams
- Build, develop, and grow knowledge of Tech Data web solutions
What you'll need to succeed
- Good understanding of JavaScript front-end frameworks like Angular, Vue.js, React, etc.
- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
- Provide support to the rest of the web development team by converting mockups and wireframes into clean and easy to maintain reusable HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
- Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image.
- Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such Azure DEV/TFS
- Nice to have experience with Adobe Experience Manager
- Good technical and non-technical communication skills
- Ability to quickly and efficiently enlist assistance to solve problems in a timely manner. Able to work effectively in a multi-tasking environment across multiple locations.
