For our Client, an international Group working in the Renewable Energy sector, with an office located in the heart of Warsaw, we are looking for a Financial Analyst / Controller.
Your new role
The tasks in this role will include hands-on support in performing standard financial processes (forecasting, month end close, budgeting, timesheets and invoicing intercompany recharges), performing accounting and treasury routines and document flow, and supporting tax checks/control procedures. Financial Analyst / Controller will be responsible for variance analysis and reporting on financial plans (budgets and forecasts), explaining the costs movements vs. prior forecast and vs. budget, supporting financial modelling and project valuations, acquiring and consolidating data/assumptions for business planning forecasts and models, support in controlling external spending and intra-group settlements - calculating and invoicing recharges. Other responsibilities include development and application of corporate finance tools (Excel), techniques and analysis, as well as forecasting, budgeting and planning techniques, working closely with Group accounting company, tax advisors and, and other controlling/analytical assignments.
What you'll need to succeed
You’ll need to have a 3-5 years of working experience in accounting / finance area, thorough understanding of financial statements and its underlying items, good numerical ability (fluency in Excel budgeting and reporting), and fluency in English (min. B2 level). Ideal Candidate has analytical & presentation skills, commitment to teamwork & co-operation, information sharing, and
ability to work in a potentially high pressure client-driven environment, is pro-active, mature and able to work with respect to the deadlines.
