Our client is a global trade holding with long-lasting heritage on the market. We are currently involved in searching for a Finance and Administration Manager who would work as a tandem directly with the General Manager. It is a unique opportunity to lead not only back office team but due to its placement within structure also be in charge of operations.

 

Finance and Administration Manager

Place of work: West part of Warsaw

It will be your job to do this:

  • Cooperation in realization in strategical processes altogether with GM
  • Care of financial and administrative personnel (including areas of: office management, logistics, HR and payroll)
  • Close collaboration with key business partners in the organization (demanding commercial team)
  • Ensuring effective strategic and operational planning, reporting and monitoring for faster decision making process
  • Verification of statutory financial outputs
  • Responsibility for ensuring all back office processes are in accordance with Polish law and Group requirements
  • Supervision over the accuracy and optimization of business processes
  • Management of middle team (up to 8 people)

Candidate profile:

  • Higher economic education (preferably finance / accounting)
  • ACCA/CIMA certification would be a plus
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Financial Manager in commercial company
  • Knowledge of financial and accounting ERP systems, preferably SAP or JD Edwards and reporting IT solutions: Hyperion (HFM) or Cognos
  • Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards is a must
  • Experience in management accounting, including budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting, analysis of variance and ad hoc analysis
  • Knowledge and experience of local legal requirements
  • Excellent command of English (B2/C1)
  • Experience in team management
  • Ability to work with MS Office, especially Excel
