Your new role
As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will lead and grow a team of full-stack and/or native mobile engineers (3-7 engineers).
Scope of duties:
- You’ll drive the product development lifecycle from idea generation to delivery, through collaboration with your Product, Design and QA peers;
- You will engage across teams to understand dependencies, priorities and opportunities to simplify;
- You’ll advocate for operational excellence through automation, tooling and monitoring/alerting;
- You will mentor and guide personal development for the people on your team, providing regular and specific feedback.

What you'll need to succeed
- You are a seasoned Engineering Leader with 4+ years of experience leading engineering teams;
- You have 2+ years of experience managing software engineers;
- You are passionate about building high-performing teams and challenging yourself and others to constantly learn and improve;
- You are comfortable giving and receiving feedback, in the interest of mentorship and self-improvement;
- You are knowledgeable about back-end services and client applications and best practices for interaction between the two;
- You’re experienced with agile development methodologies including Scrum and Kanban, and desire to work in an agile environment;
- You are completely fluent in English, both speaking and writing;
Nice to have:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
- Experience collaborating with offshore teams
- Experience with PHP, Laravel, Vue.js, MySQL or native iOS or Android development
