Engineering Leader
Location: Warsaw2 days from office/ 3 days remoteJob type: B2B (with Hays Poland)Length: long-term cooperationRate: up to 190 PLN/h net on B2B
What You will be doing:
- Setting the strategic direction by defining execution plans, ensuring initiatives are align with company goals from engineering perspective.
- Daily operations, such as collaborating with cross-functional teams for feature development.
- Taking accountability for predictability, effectiveness, quality and keeping stakeholders informed.
- Teams development through 1:1s, coaching, performance management and recruitment to maintain a high-performance culture.
- Serve as a liaison between engineering and product teams, providing project estimates (defined by dev. Teams) * and *contributing to the overall business impact.
- Continuously improving his/her professional qualifications and participating in all forms of professional education.
What we expect from you:
- Ideally, you have over 3+ years of experience as a software engineering manager, leading teams responsible for high-scale production services. (10 - 30 people at the team)
- 5 years of professional software development experience, contributing to the development of Java web applications and/or distributed systems.
- Proven experience in driving effective execution with agile processes in a dynamic environment.
- A people-oriented leader, capable of modelling and fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture.
- Exceptional at communicating, passionate about technology and committed to raising the bar.
