For our Client, one of the leaders in the investment banking industry, we are currently looking for an EMEA Payroll Officer.
Your new role
You will be responsible for analyzing and processing multiple EMEA payrolls in line with the local and regional tax, payroll and wage reporting rules, detailed calculation of wages and applicable deductions based on employee contract and internal compensation rules, and inputting/updating of key payroll & compensation data into the system. Payroll Officer’s other duties include handling enquiries on monthly pay, deductions, and tax from employees, external vendors, and tax authorities, identifying, investigating, and resolving discrepancies in compensation and variance records, handling confidential and highly sensitive personal information, and determining organization's tax obligations by calculating national and council taxes as well as National Insurance and other social security contributions.
What you'll need to succeed
You’ll need to have at least 2-3 years of professional experience in a similar role in an international and complex organization and profound knowledge of EMEA payroll regulations. Fluent English (B2/C1 level) and good MS Office skills are a must. The ideal candidate has exceptional attention to detail, is highly organized with an ability to multi-task, handle a heavy workload and manage multiple deadlines with minimal supervision. Professional experience in financial institutions and with Web/Java-based systems will be an asset.
