On behalf of our client an international company from the pharmaceutical industry
Your new role
The Revenue Senior Accountant is responsible for preparing and recording all revenue related adjustment transactions as well as supporting documentation for these processes and performing account reconciliations. In addition, the Revenues Senior Accountant works with Business Units to facilitate timely recording and reporting of all revenue transactions. You will also be responsible for collect and/or prepare and review appropriate supporting documents for all revenue recognition activity from the business units. You will Prepare manual journals for various transactions impacting revenue, including adjustments, reversals, rebates, sales returns, complex deals involving finance and operating leases, with adequate supporting documentation. Working on this position you will provide audit support specific to revenues accounting, support regional and global reporting requirements on revenues for all areas under Regional Controllership responsibility (e.g., monthly B/S and P&L Flux reviews) and support monthly/quarterly/annual close processes and work closely with Regional Controllership teams.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideal Candidate Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience with degree in Accounting (ACCA/CIMA or international equivalent is highly preferred). Moreover, international experience with GAAP and IFRS or ASC606 including consolidation and foreign currency accounting beneficial. We are looking for Candidates who have Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel knowledge. Very good English is a must. Experience in JDE, Blackline and W-Desk is an advantage.
