We are the Technology and Operations team for Santander Group. We are convinced of the importance of technology that is aligned with the requirements of the business and that our work not only brings value to users, people and communities but also fosters individual creativity. Our team of over 2,000 people in 7 countries (Spain, Poland, UK, USA, Mexico, Chile and Brazil) develops and/or implements financial solutions across a broad spectrum of technologies (including Blockchain, Big Data and Angular among others) on all kinds of on-premise and cloud-based platforms.
Your new role:
Collaboration in DevOps projects, contributing with an overview of architecture, design, systems integration, solution implementation, automation, execution and support:
- Deployment pipelines: Automatic promotion of the software to the different environments. Orchestration with all quality control systems, including Cybersecurity.
- Environments and infrastructures: Responsible for making available, maintaining and scaling when necessary the self-configuration of environments and their infrastructures so that the team can develop the solution.
- Functional tests: Automation of functional and regression tests that ensure the correct behaviours of the application automatically.
- Continuous integration: Enable the necessary capabilities so that the team can integrate its code on a daily basis (at least) with automation of unit tests and software quality.
- Software development methodologies.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 2 years of project development experience,
- Automatic deployment tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.),
- Cloud Architecture, monitoring tools (OpenShift / Docker Hub / Kubernetes),
- Cloud (Azure and/or AWS),
- ALMs from cloud providers (Azure DevOps, DevOps AWS, GitHub, GitLab, Atlassian, etc.),
- Jira/Confluence, Git, Jenkins (CloudBees), Nexus, Sonar and Harbor,
- Scripting languages (Groovy, Python, JavaScript, etc.),
- Databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Azure Cosmos DB recommended)
- Languages: English and/or Spanish.
-Education: Bachelor/Master in Mathematics, Engineering (Telecommunications / Computer Science), Statistics, Physics or similar.
