For our Client we are currently looking for Candidates for the position of:

Devops Architect

Location: Warsaw

Branch: financial services

Job type: B2B (with Hays Poland)

Length: long-term cooperation (min. 2 years)

Rate: 220-250 PLN/h net

Start date: ASAP

Working hours: 8 hours per day, between 8:00 and 18:00

Remote work: working in hybrid model 4/1 (Mon-Thu in the office, Fri at home)

Project description: 

Company will provide Technical Leadership services for the Applications Migration between Data Centers of Client. Applications Migration is a component project of Data Center Migration program. There are 40 business applications to move.

What will you do:

• Quality documentation of discovered knowledge at the level fitting the purpose 
• Technical consistency of the architecture / design, including:
• Current state 
• Target deployment architecture/ design
• Intermediary states required to support migration strategy
• Migration strategy
• Minimizing customer impacts 
• Migration risks 
• Complete and comprehensive WBS tasks related to technology
• Assistance to project manager to convert WBS into project task and planning
• Support executing the technical steps and application and client migration to the extent required

What we expect from you:

• Minimum 10 years of experience as Devops Engineer / Architect
• Experience in application migration from on-prem to cloud, re-deployments etc.
• Practical experience in working out and documenting architecture / design in cooperation with architecting teams and various Clients internal competence centres
• Wide knowledge of spectrum of IT technologies used by applications, middleware, practical experience with application deployment in the AWS or Azure cloud, CI/CD issues, containerization, Kubernetes is an advantage
• Ability to absorb adequate level of knowledge working with application SMEs
• Understanding of availability, performance, monitoring and resilience aspects for semi real time online transaction systems and mass transaction processing systems 
• High level understanding of infrastructure aspects, network solutions, load balancing, TLS
• Responsibility: care for product quality, making and keeping commitments 
• Cooperation: the ability to share knowledge and experience, find compromises, build correct relationships within the local organization and in the corporation
• Domain knowledge on transaction acquiring and card issuer services will be an advantage
• Knowledge of English on min. B2/C1 level
